B-1600 Horizontal Resaw System

Brewco has hundreds of B-1600’s sawing every day across the USA.  Using a 2" wide band means there is no need for expensive filing room equipment or support.  And, this saw is a very thin kerf (.082").  Every cant is turned for the best grade, and with our off-line cant turner, every cant stays butt-fed for maximum production.  This system will very easily saw 2000 lines 12’ long in an 8-hour shift.

Brewco is the poineer of the 2" band resaw.  Along with our patented floating guide and several trade secrets we are the only manufacturer that has figured out how to run a thin-kerf 2" band successfully and efficiently.

HRS18 Horizontal Resaw System

Brewco Inc. Sawmill Division announces the production of a new horizontal resaw system, the Brewco HRS18. The Brewco HRS18 is built strictly for the demanding environment of high production grade sawmills. Compared to linebar resaw applications, the HRS18 provides many advantages.

The HRS18 will handle 18"x18"x18’ long cants and slabs and its new state-of-the-art optimized feed works system includes patented technology. A single operator can efficiently grade cants and the optimized feed works automates the feed and flow process.

Brewco continues to grow as a leading innovator in the sawmill industry by providing efficient methods of turning traditional sawmills into high yield, high production operations. The HRS18 adds the power, structure and capacity to dramatically improve profitability in larger mill applications as well as smaller operations.

Compared to a linebar system requiring 2 operators, Brewco’s HRS18 Systems using either 1 or 2 operators will provide increased production, better yield, lower cost per cut, increased flexibility and can still eliminate an expensive filing room.

The HRS18 is available in single or twin horizontal models and will handle band widths from 2”-5”. Structural integrity is a key component of the HRS18. 10 1/2" rollers, 4"x10" heavy-wall tubing, 1" thick steel frame work for resaw structure, 5 crossover chains, turned rollers, 60-75 HP drive motor along with 50 HP of hydraulic power are just some of the featured components of this system. Servo setworks and an optimized feed works make this system perform like no other system ever built.

Key standard features on the Brewco Sawmill Division HRS18 include 40"-48” wheels, 2"-5" band capacity, fixed table with shifting saw line, slat bed feed table, segmented sprocket adjustable pressure hold down system, air strain with dial adjustment, cartridge type pressure guides, Optimized feed works system including servo setworks, dual laser dimensional scanning and a patented floating guide system.
